Q: How many months will the coaching engagement last?
A: It varies. Engagements are a minimum of 3 months and can last as long as 12 months. The client determines the coaching time period based largely on the goals they have set for themselves and the related progress achieved.
Q: Do the client and coach have to live in the same city?
A: No. It is very common to live in separate cities. With today's technology of video conferencing and mobile phones, communication is flexible and convenient.
Q: What is the purpose of the Immersion meeting?
A: Think of it as a "kick-off" meeting, where the client and coach have a deep discussion about the client's goals, work environment, and other important topics that will inform how best to structure the coaching engagement and the client's "Leadership Development Plan".
Q: What is the purpose of the "Leadership Development Plan"?
A: The plan frames the client's actions for achieving the goals they have set for themselves. The coach provides insights, and serves as a sounding board to facilitate the plan's preparation.
Q: How often do the client and the coach interact?
A: After the Immersion meeting, the client and coach will have weekly scheduled 60-90 minute video or phone calls to discuss the client's progress and any other issues the client wants to discuss. Also, the client may contact the coach any time within the week if something occurs that they want to discuss. Additional face-to-face meeting or "work shadow" days can be arranged at the request of the client.
Q: Is everything discussed between the client and coach kept confidential?
A: Yes, it is essential the two share a mutual relationship of trust.
Q: Do you provide a satisfaction guarantee?
A: Yes. If after the first coaching session, you are not satisfied, you can cancel and receive a full refund.
